ศึกษาหาความหมายเกี่ยวกับหลักและทฤษฎีการสื่อสารมวลชน ด้านการวางแผน และการปฏิบัติงานทางด้านวิทยุโทรทัศน์ทั้งภาครัฐบาลและภาคเอกชนในท้องถิ่น เน้นความรู้เกี่ยวกับการจัดรายการวิทยุโทรทัศน์เพื่อพัฒนาท้องถิ่น ศึกษาทางด้านความสำคัญเเละการบริหารงานของวิทยุโทรทัศน์เพื่อพัฒนาท้องถิ่นให้ดีขึ้น โดยเน้นการสื่อสารทางวิทยุโทรทัศน์ในการปฎิบัติผลิตรายการวิทยุโทรทัศน์เพื่อพัฒนาท้องถิ่นหรือชุมชนที่ใกล้เคียงกับสถานศึกษาของนักศึกษา
